DAY 1: COSTA RICA - SAN JOSE

Arrival in Costa Rica-Meet and greet and transfer to our selected hotel.
Dinner.

DAY 2: SAN JOSE > IRAZU VOLCANO - CARTAGO

Full day to explore some of the beauties of Costa Rica. Wev start with a 2 hour drive to Irazu Volcano, one of the 9 active volcanoes in Costa Rica and second highest peak in gthe country (3400 meters). We will admire the stunning "lunar" landscape and its five craters. We will drive down and stop in Cartago, where we will be visiting Cartago's Cathedral, Basilica de los Angeles, where every 1st of August millions of pilgrims walk to, to thank the Black Virgin. Lunch in a local counyry-side style restaurant. Now, ready to get back to Costa Rica's capital San Joset. We will visit the Mercado Central, founded in 1880, will stroll along the central boulevard and admire the National Theater. Din er in a pre selected local restaurant.

DAY 3: SAN JOSE > SARAPIQUI

After breakfast we get on board our motor coach and start a 2 1/2 hour drive to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui. Today we will start a reforestation program. We will visit a local farm and help plant native trees on the property. Reforestation is a clear environmental need that is not addressed at smaller scales by Costa Rican government programs. Yet it is something that interests many farmers and can be offered at minimal sacrifice to them. This activity provides an important lesson about grassroots forestry, community awareness, and the impact humans have on conservation and the environment. Lunch and dinner with locals.

DAY 4: SARAPIQUI

Today we will spike up our adrenaline level with an exciting white water rafting tour in the Sarapiqui river. Box lunch included. rest of the day to rest.

DAY 5: SARAPIQUI > ARENAL

In the morning we will hop on our motor coach and drive to our next destination: Arenal Volcano. In the afternoon we will have some fun with the Canopy tour. Enjoy "flying" from one platform to another, in the lush vegetation of the rain forest. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.

DAY 6: ARENAL

Today we will visit a local public school. We will learn about th Costa Rican public education system, which is 100% free. This is allowing Costa Rica to have one of the highest literacy rate in the region. Lunch.
In the afternoon we will visit a local farm, and will learn about the processing of products that are very important for the country economy. You will be sharing with farmers and their families, and taste some of the Costa Rica local and genuine products. Dinner.

DAY 7: ARENAL > JACO BEACH

Today we will drive to our last destination for some fun at the beach. Lunch.
Right before dinner we will enjoy a Latin dance class. Dinner.

DAY 8: JACO BEACH

Enjoy a fun surf class in the pacific ocean. Lunch - dinner at the Resort.

DAY 9: COSTA RICA > HOME

Last moments at the beach. Time to pack yuor stuff and drive back to the airport for the check in of your flight.
